The athletic world is a unique and complex environment that affects athletes and their mental health concerns. At higher levels of competition, the unique aspects of this environment require that therapists are well prepared for working with athletes with mental health concerns. This workshop explores the areas that therapists need to explore more deeply before considering this client population as an area of practice competency.
